I am a Mathematics Teacher Educator #iteachmath at the University of Colorado Denver. I am a fierce proponent of focusing on learning and reasoning in STEM education. I think we have spent a lot of time focusing on either (a) the work we do teaching content and (b) what our students do not understanding. My goal is for us to switch our focus to what our students learn and what we can learn about what they do know.
Although my main area of focus is on STEM learning and teaching, I also focus on what learning and teaching looks like in higher education.
