Cognitive Demands: I feel like for the math plan that the cognitive demands don't go very deep. They don't say enough or ask enough. It feels all very one leveled to me, whereas I feel like it needs to be more equitable for all of the students. It feels a little scattered regarding the expectations and demands. I'd try to work toward making them more open and equitable.
Language Demands: I feel like this also could have been stronger. I feel like if we got the multilingual learners to use the math terms in English that would be better. They could write the rest in their main language. Another idea could be having a translator or another multilingual student (who is more comfortable with English) sit at the table and help translate so that everyone can understand their perspective/thoughts.
