Looking at "Linear & Exponential Functions" unit overview was interesting and helped me a little. I have to work on my unit learning goals with the cognitive process. I have an idea of what I am going to do for each day but I am going to go over it with my CT. It is not the same as the example because they have learning goals stated. I have to look into my lessons for each day to find that learning goal for each class so that I have a better idea for what that class is going to be.
In the language demands, the example does seem to think about how to support their ELL students and what they also expect from English speakers at the same time. My favorite which some students in my class do not think about is taking notes in their own language so that it is easier for them to understand when they go back to their notes.
